Dorothy Jean Miles, age 65, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away peacefully at her home on Monday March 19, 2018, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born December 11, 1952 to Thelma Johnson and Joe Sikes.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Friday March 23, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home. On Saturday March 24, 2018 from 9:00 until 9:45 am the family will receive friends at White Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. Minister Jason Green will officiate.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Winford Miles; daughter Becky Barnes, son-in-law, Randy Barnes; mother Thelma Johnson; sisters; Linda Pynes, Debbie Ragan, Ginny Lambert, brothers; Donnie Sikes, Mike Sikes and her granddaughter, Rachel Barnes. She is also survived by 6 nieces and 3 nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her father Joe Sikes; sister Marie Judy and her grandson, Rodney Barnes.
Pallbearers will include; Kenny Cox, Chris Spivey, Mark McCrerey, Chuck Stephenson, Troy Carter, Clay Spivey. Daniel Spivey will serve as Honorary pallbearer.
Dorothy was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
