Douglas Edward Dew (Doug), 53, of Holtville, AL, passed away after an extended illness January 30th at his home. He was born in Montgomery, AL to David and Mary Dew. Doug was known for his infectious laugh, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his love for his grandchildren as well as his love of nature and animals. He was a member of the national and local Harley Davidson group (HOG) as well as a member and supporter of Dixie ABATE. Doug is survived by his wife, Donna Sullivan Dew, two sons, Kevin and Tyler Dew, one daughter, Rebekka Newell (Jason), two grandchildren, Autumn and Shelby Newell, brothers, Dan Dew (Valeri), David Dew (Patty) and one sister, Donna Gross (Presley) as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held February 8th at 4:00 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama.
