Edna Alston

Edna Alston of Wetumpka, AL, passed away on June 9, 2019 at the age of 79. She was a devoted Wife and Mother. Edna loved her family, and especially enjoyed spending the holidays with them. She also had a love for gardening and collecting antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Alston; brother, Lester Lee; and parents, Carl and Jewel Lee.

Edna is survived by her children, Kim Reynolds (Dan) and Cathy Taylor; grandchildren, Crystal Lamers (Dan), Austin Collier, Daniel Dees (Amber). Rebecca Schmalz (Allen), Autumn Reynolds, and Dan Reynolds (Whitney); great grandchildren, Courtney Schmalz, Brianna Schmalz, Devin Schmalz, Conner Esco, Kelsey Esco, Jaythan Reynolds, and Kyrah Reynolds; and brother, Maurice Lee (Loette).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 1:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel, with a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm; Burial following in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers to include: Austin Collier, Daniel Dees. Larry Alston, Don Schmalz, Dan Reynolds, and Allen Schmalz.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses at Ivy Creek Hospice, and Pastor, Brother Larry Sumrall.
