Edna Hazel Russell Huggins

Edna Hazel Russell Huggins, 91, of Montgomery, AL, preceded her family into the arms of her Lord on March 31, 2017. She was a devoted RN who worked tirelessly at St. Margaret's Hospital, Professional Center Hospital, Jackson's Hospital, St Jude's Hospital, Kilby Prison, and Home Health Nursing. She served as an RN, Floor Supervisor and Emergency Room Supervisor. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing the piano, and singing. Her favorite song was "Because He Lives." She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wayne Huggins. She is survived by her three sons, Russell Huggins, David Huggins and John Huggins (Cindy). Brothers, Jimmy Russell (CarroI), Jerry Russell (Linda), Sammy Russell (Karen), and sister Lelia Faye Osoinak; grandchildren, Jeremy Huggins, Josh Huggins (Stephanie), Ashley Bean, Jennie Huggins Webb (Jordan), Danny Huggins, Bobby Huggins (Jennifer), Jimmy Huggins; and numerous great grandchildren. The simple, casual graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will begin to accept friends at 10:00 AM, prior to the service.
