She was preceded in death by her father William Moody, mother Winnie Ott Moody, sister P. Elizabeth Williams, her longtime friend and companion Lillian Maadox, and her beloved friend Geraldine Boyd.
She is survived by Judy Broach and Bernie Hawkins, both family by choice, and her canine companion, CT (Crimson Tide).
Edna was born on July 8, 1935. She was raised in southeast Alabama. While growing up, she was a pitcher in softball, and she always loved women's softball- especially Alabama softball. She was an avid Alabama fan and loved the Atlanta Braves.
A graveside for Edna will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery, 1089 N. Ann Ave, Tallassee, AL 36708. (Old Section of cemetery)
