
Mrs. Biebighauser was born in Pensacola, Florida, the daughter of the late Edward Hunter Hurst, Brigadier General, United States Marine Corps, and the late Emma Randolph Elebash Hurst. She graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority.
She is survived by her husband, Victor K. Biebighauser of Montgomery, son John Hunter Biebighauser (Carrington) of Atlanta, Georgia, daughter Julia Perrin Biebighauser Mazzone (Matthew), and granddaughter Avery Elizabeth Mazzone, of Atlanta, Georgia, sisters Ann Hurst Harrington (Myron) of Charleston, South Carolina, and Perrin Hurst Ireland (Thomas Ramey) of Washington, DC, uncles Clarence C. Elebash of Pensacola, Florida, and John H. Hurst of Macon, Georgia, niece Ann Hunley Harrington of Charleston, South Carolina, and nephew Myron C. Harrington, III, (Kathleen) and family of Charlotte, North Carolina, and numerous cousins.
Mrs. Biebighauser was a founding and active member of Christchurch Anglican in Montgomery, and participated in numerous volunteer activities, including at her church, at her children’s school, Trinity Presbyterian School, at Southeastern Dixie Baseball, and at the Alabama Dance Theatre.
Funeral service will be held at Christchurch, 8800 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, Alabama, on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., with the Very Rev. Andrew Rowell officiating. Interment will follow at the Christchurch columbarium. The family will receive visitors in the parish hall immediately following.
