Linscott, Elsie M. 90, of Montgomery, Al. born April 10, 1922 in Brantley, Al died Dec. 08, 2012. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bede Catholic Church at 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 12 with Reverend A. Jayaraj, HGN officiating. Visitation and Rosary will be held one hour before Mass. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Al. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William H. “Corky” Linscott; parents, Jesse F. and Maria B. Mainor; brothers; Henry F., Jesse B., Hubert, Herbert, William (Bill) Mainor; sisters, Helen Chumley and Betty Ann Sullivan. She is survived by sisters, Elizabeth Hill and Beth Kirby; daughters, Juanita L. (Charles) Grant, Wetumpka, Al., Lynda L. Kimble, Zwolle, La., and son, William H. (Sylvia) Linscott, Gulf Shores, Al.; grandchildren, Gregory D. (Angelia) Grant, Alpharetta, Ga., Jeffrey E. Kimble, Zwolle, La., Deborah G. (Craig) Cox, Angela K. (Mikel) Reed both of Kennesaw, Ga.; Susan Kimble and Ashley Durr, both of Zwolle, La.; Lacy L. Campbell, Smyrna, Tn., step-granddaughters, Tara D. (Michael) Rogan, Birmingham, Al., and Jessica D. (Mathew) Rippy, Gulf Shores, Al.; great-grandchildren, Cory Linscott, Brandon Campbell, Rachel Grant, Allyson and Kelley Cox, Andrew and Alexandra Reed, Jeffrey and Samantha Kimble, Dylan, Jessica and Christopher Durr; great-great granddaughter, Gracelyn Welles; step-great-great grandchildren; Allyson, Alden and Greyson Rogan and Alex Rippy; and very special friend, Yong Walker, that Elsie loved as a sister.
