George Coleman Gowan, Jr., passed away on February 28, 2018. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Coleman and Margaret Gowan and Dennis and Betty Vance. He is survived by his son, Sam Gowan; his parents George and Mary Jo Gowan.
Mr. Gowan retired from the Alabama Air National Guard, 187th Fighter Wing as a Master Sergeant. He retired after 20 years of service. Burial will be Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Alabama National Cemetery at 11:45 AM with a visitation on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 5:00-7:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel.
