

Those preceded in death are Thelma Whitmore MacLean (mother), Wallce K. MacLean (father), Julia Burr MacLean (step-mother), and William Wallace “Wally” MacLean(son).
Bobby graduated from Pike County High School in Brundidge, Alabama. He then joined the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. Upon return he attended college at Troy State. After graduation he began a career with the State of Alabama Department of Corrections. He faithfully served there for over 40 years.
Upon retirement he was able to enjoy his passions: his grandchildren, golf, fishing, and hunting. He loved going to the beach where he would fish, golf, and play in the water. He loved playing golf with his son and grandson. Hunting was another favorite pastime. He enjoyed being in the woods where he would wait patiently for a deer or even a bobcat. He especially loved fishing on the river.
Bobby attended all football games, baseball games, soccer games, volleyball games, tennis matches and basketball games of his nine grandchildren. He was so proud of his granddaughters who loved to dance. Those performances were very special to him. Having conversations with Peyton truly brought him Joy.
Bobby loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church with his family.
He is survived by his best friend, Patti MacLean; son Christopher MacLean (Ginger), daughter Beth Barranco (Jeff), and daughter Molly MacLean. He has 9 amazing grandchildren: Troy MacLean, Chase MacLean, Grant Wells, Liz Ann Wells, Caroline MacLean, Peyton Barranco, Cara Barranco, Haddley Barranco, and JR Barranco. His sister,Bonnie Hodge. Nieces and nephews , Trey Hodge, Blaire Woodring (Adam), Lee Furner(Lynn), Dee Terry (Carlos) and great nieces Abigail, Emaline, and Brantley Terry.
