Gloria Christine Jackson, lifelong resident of Montgomery Alabama went to be with the Lord and her heavenly family members on December 31, 2025. She will be remembered as a loving, faithful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She was always there when needed to offer her advice and assistance to anyone. She was 88 years young at the time of her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Houston Hubert Melton, mother, Ruby Mae Jones, brothers, Gerald Melton and Dwight Melton, sisters, Joyce Lemley and Barbara Melton, Husband, Henry C. Jackson, Sr., and son, Stephen Mark Jackson and daughter in law, Deborah Jackson.
She is survived by her sons, Henry {Jack} Jackson, John Daniel Jackson {Cyndi}, William Alan Jackson, grandson, Eric A Jackson, granddaughters, Jenifer Kay Fossett, Kimberly Jackson {Dzbinski}, and Julie Elise Jackson, great grandsons, Zander Blake Fossett and Keegan Blair Fossett and many other family and friends.
She will be remembered for her hard work with her husband and her other occupations to raise their sons up in the way of righteousness and her faithfulness to her Lord and Savior.
A Friends and Family Visitation will be held at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, located at 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL, 36109, on January 7, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life Chapel Service will follow at the same location on January 7, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
