

Harry Robinson Brantley, of Montgomery, AL passed away unexpectedly in his home on November 10, 2017 at the age of 60. Harry loved the Lord and is with Him now. He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in History from Auburn University Montgomery, where he also made the Dean’s list. Harry enjoyed photography, computers, gardening, Bible study, rock and fossil collecting, hummingbirds, Film Noir movies, and History films. Some of his favorite music included Dylan, Dead, Beatles, Byrds, and Gram Parsons. He worked the printing press for Alfa Insurance and Victoryland, and was a Real Estate Salesman at Haardt Properties, Inc.
Harry was preceded in death by his father, Joffre D. Brantley.
He is survived by his mother, Jane E. Brantley; and two brothers, Tom B. Brantley and Dick J. Brantley (Kathy).
A Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 10:00 am, with a Graveside Service following in Greenwood Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.; officiated by Carolyn Nelson of Whitfield Methodist Church. Pallbearers to include: Tom B. Brantley, Dick J. Brantley, Van Hartin, Robert Hartin, and Nicholas Bowden; Honorary Pallbearers: John Ferguson, R. Mitch Alton, and Jimmy Mills.
