Harvey Wright McJunkin, Jr., age 89, a retired Air Force Major and resident of Wetumpka, AL, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca Plant McJunkin, one brother , James Nelson McJunkin, one sister, Elinor Sanford, and parents, Harvey Wright McJunkin, Sr. and Ruby McJunkin. Mr. McJunkin is survived by three nieces, Nancy Scalise (Jim), Gloria Dean (Mickey), Martee Windham(Dick), one nephew, Jim McJunkin (Beth), and one sister-in-law, Sue LaRossa (Dick). Visitation will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 1:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel and graveside service following in Greenwood Cemetery at 2:00 with Reverend Gene DeVaughn officiating.
