Helen Carol Adams

Helen Carol Adams (née Pickens), a cherished resident of Franklin, Alabama, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, in Eclectic, Alabama. Born on March 9, 1950, in Florence, Alabama, Carol lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service to her family and community.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Buel, her parents, Arvil and Iva Pickens, her brother, Glenn, and her sister, Cathy (Fowler). Her legacy continues through her devoted children, son Eric and his wife Lacie, and daughter Jennifer (Starling) and her husband Jimmy. Carol was a proud Granny to Eric and Lacie's daughters Allie, Danielle, and Kady, and Jennifer and Jimmy's daughter Emily, and sons Bobby and Jacob, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama. A celebration of Carol's life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crossroads Community Church, 150 Mt. Hebron Rd., Elmore, Alabama.

The family would especially like to convey their appreciation to Southeast Hospice and their staff for the care and compassion shown during Carol's final month.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to AGAPE of Central Alabama or Adullam House Ministries, ensuring Carol's spirit of giving continues to touch lives. Carol will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. She now rests in arms of her Lord and Savior.
