
Henry L. Bolton, a resident of Montgomery, AL for 64 years, passed away Saturday, November 3rd, at the age of 85. He was born in Sylacauga, AL, April 19, 1927. Henry was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was employed by Capital Refrigeration Company for 46 years. For many years, Henry served faithfully as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and choir member of Goode St. Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church. In his later years, he was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie and Lillian Bolton, his brother, Clyde Bolton, and his great granddaughter, Lydia Grace Mills. Survivors include wife of nearly 63 years, Sarah Cain Bolton; daughter, Pamela (Ricky) Mills of Wetumpka, AL; grandsons, Jonathon (Whitnee) Mills of Fort Worth, TX; Christopher (Sandy) Mills of Pinson, AL; great grandson Micah David Mills of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Betty B. Mills of Birmingham, AL; and several nieces and nephews. The family expresses appreciation to Baptist Hospice; nurses, George Cumuze and LaDonna Peyton; and also special caretaker, Dan Murray. Memorials may be made in Mr. Bolton's honor to Ridgecrest Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice. Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel on Tuesday November 6 from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, November 7 at 11am with Dr. Michael Cassity and Dr. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
