Henry Harold Moore

MOORE, Henry H., 94, of Wetumpka, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014. Born in Andalusia, Alabama, he was a WWII U. S. Navy veteran, a graduate of The University of Alabama, and a member of the Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. Mr. Moore retired from Lester Laboratories when he was 57, and was an avid fisherman. When Uncle Harold was not fishing, he could be found watching sports, the news, or CNBC. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, G.C. Moore, Douglas M. Moore, Bobby Moore, Lila Mae Richards, and Annie Jo Bonner, he is survived by three sisters, Alene Park Patterson and Colleen Furlong of Montgomery, and Nell Wood of Huntsville, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Moore’s Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM, with Pastor Kenneth Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Lyle, Eldridge Thrash, Sonny Moore, Henry Tylicki, Lewis Owens, and Doug Moore.
