J. L. Hall

HALL, Mr. J.L., age 92, a resident of Hope Hull, passed away April 25, 2014, at Jackson Hospital after a short illness. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at Liberty Church of Christ in Hope Hull on Monday, April 28, 2014, followed by Funeral Services at 11 AM, with Minister Mark Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps where he was part of the team that built Chewacla State Park. Mr. Hall retired after 32 years from Kershaw Manufacturing Company as a Master Welder. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Katherine Cleghorn Hall, two brothers Clyde (Betty Jo) and Leland (Doris), two sisters-in-law Betty Moore (A.V.) and Katie Cleghorn and multiple nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own.
