

James Addison Hadley, Jr, 72, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on May 16, 2017, peacefully in his sleep. The Visitation Service will be held on Monday, May 22 at 1:30 pm at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home followed by a Celebration for Life Memorial Service beginning at 2:30pm. Pastor Bill Hall of Trinity Assembly of God will be officiating during this time.
Mr. Hadley was born in Baltimore, MD on August 23, 1944. He was preceded in death by his son, James, his wife (Janis-of 28 years-mother of his children), his granddaughter Alexis Hill, and his parents; father- James Addison Hadley Sr., step-father-Arthur H Paule,
and his mother- Louise Eleanor Hadley.
He is survived by wife; Janice Marie Hadley,
His step-sons; Ian Donta Dasinger (Jadine), Joseph Michael Dasinger,
Brett Michael Singleton (Becky)
His daughters: Kathy Ann Hadley and Dawn Marie Waller (Brian).
His grandchildren: Christopher and Anissa Dasinger, Channing Singleton, Kaitlyn Livingston, Brandon Livingston, Alex and Brittney Waller.
His great Grandchildren: Trevor Dasinger, Kayleb and Bradley Ferrell.
He is survived by siblings: Howard Allen Hadley, Kenneth Eugene Hadley (Kirsten), Thomas Edward Hadley (Monica), Barry Richard Hadley (Susie), Pamela Henry-Sievert (George)
Nephews: Thomas Hadley Jr , Ricky Hadley, Chad Henry
Nieces: Heather and Hope Hadley, Sarah Henry
And many other nieces, nephews & cousins and family friends.
James graduated from Catonsville High School, Baltimore, Maryland and joined the US Air Force after graduation in 1962. He was a CCAF Program Administrator for the Services Branch. His assignments included Det 93, TUSLOG, Trabzon, Turkey; 552 ACW and Con Wg, Otis AFB, Massachusetts; 640 AC&W Sq, Stevenville AS, Newfoundland; 2044 Comm Gp, Washington, DC; 1954 RADES, Hill AFB, Utah; 436 MAW, Dover AFB, Delaware; 1141 USAFSAS, Stuttgart, Germany. He is a graduate of the USAFSS Command NCO Academy and the USAF Senior NCO Academy and has an AAS from CCAF (Associate Degree). He served 28 years, retiring on 10 March 1990 as a SMSGT. He received numerous awards and commendations. He went to work for the AL ARNG for the State in the Retired Records Department and served another 14 years and retired in 2004. He was a rail fan/photographer who enjoyed taking pictures of locomotives and having his pictures published. He loved going to Military Battlefields and Parks. He loved going to the Blue Waters of Destin, eating crabs (reminding him of those he fished for in Maryland). He spent lots of time there on family vacations and other times. He could eat some crab legs as well. He was very active in his church and loved the Lord with all his heart.
