Janice Baker Phillips

Janice Baker Phillips (1916-2016) passed away Monday, November 21, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Osa Martin Phillips, Sr.; her sisters; and her brother. She is survived by her son, Dr. Osa “Rusty” Phillips, Jr. (Cary); her daughters, Lucy Phillips Habermann (Art); Lynn Phillips Woolard; her grandsons, Philip Martin Allen (Kim), Arthur Gary Woolard (Hailey); her granddaughters, Heather Allen Nichols (Tim), Janice Allen Meadows (Howard), Rebecca Lynn Habermann, Dr.Cary Phillips Crowe (Jimmy), Dr.Martha Phillips George (Steven); and great

grandchildren A.J. Allen, Mary Virginia Meadows, Caroline Meadows, Reid Nichols, Grayson Crowe, James Crowe, Zelda Grace Woolard, and Emerson George. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, November 23, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Alabama where family and friends are invited to celebrate Janice Phillips' life. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, prior to the service. Graveside will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stegall Seminary Scholarship Foundation at First United Methodist Church, 2416 W.
