Elizabeth Jean Parker, age 90, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Born to Fred and Kathleeyn Parker, Jean was an only child who grew up in Montgomery surrounded by her extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her friend, Mildred Collins; and a favorite cousin, Gene Gandy. Miss Parker loved her cats and her family.
Her primary caregivers, Kim and James Hungate, want to thank all the family members (nieces, nephews, and cousins) who helped with her care as well as her sitters who showered Jean with their love and kindness. Additionally, Ivy Creek and Gentiva home health care were patient and compassionate in their time spent with Miss Parker. She will be buried among her family in Oakwood Annex.
A graveside service for Jean will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Annex, 1304 Upper Wetumpka Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36107.
