Mr. Jewrry Lamar Norsworthy 77, passed away at his residence in Montgomery, Alabama. The son of Mr Fox Henderson Norsworthy and Mrs. Jewel Bernice Reeves. His siblings were Mr. Joe Felix Norsworthy and Mrs. Laler Frances White. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Johnnie Lynn Halse-Norsworthy, parents, siblings, and nephew, Mr. Gary White. Survivors include 5 nephews, Mr. Mike White, Rison, AR, Mr. Rodger White, Elmore, AL, Mr. Paul White, Mr. Ricky Norsworthy and Mr. Robbie Norsworthy all of Montgomery, AL. Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews, Ricky Norsworthy, Robbie Norsworthy, Rodger White, Austin Norsworthy, Chase Norsworthy, and Hunter Norsworthy.
Mr.. Jerry Norsworthy, an alumnus of Troy University, was a member of the Whitfield Memorial United Methodist Church, the Alabama Rehabilitation Association, the National Rehabilitation Association, the Alabama Physically Handicapped Association, and the Alabama Governor's Committee on Employment of the Handicapped. He's been considered as an Honorary Citizen of the City of Mobile by proclamation of the Mayor of Mobile, Alabama. He retired from the Board of Education and the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services after 30 years of Service
