Joe Thompson Pharr

Pharr, Joe Thompson 88, Born and raised in Montgomery Alabama, relocated to Nashville TN in 1979. He was preceded in death by parents Claude and Bertha Pharr, Brothers Robert Pharr, LeRoy Pharr, Louie Pharr, and sister Mildred Johson.

Longtime employee and retired from Albany International where many lifelong friendships were made. Joe T is what he was called by many, especially his grand and great grandchildren.

Joe T is survived by his children, Cheri (Ernest) Sealy Wetumka AL, Terri (Ray) Pharr Lebanon TN., Joe JR (LaDonna) Pharr, Mount Juliet TN. Grandkids Corey (Amber) Sealy, Samanth Jo (Eric) Shipley, Cale Sealy, Bayley Pharr, Andie Makayla Rose (Dylan) Blaine Pharr. Great-Grandkids, Colton Sealy, Jackson Hines, Conner Sealy, Jaxson Shipley, and Liv Sealy. Sister Eva Dawkins and Ralph Pharr, many nieces and nephews.

Long time member of Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mount Juliet TN, Joe was an avid bicyclist bright and early every morning at 4 am with special friends. He loved to attend all games his grands and great grands played no matter what sport. He was a big University of Alabama fan. We shall Celebrate Joe T at Leak Memory on Lincoln Road in Montgomery Alabama.

A visitation for Joe will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
