Johnny is survived by his wife of 39 years Wanda Martin, and son, John Christopher (Chris) and his wife, Tasha and grandson, Hunter of Deatsville, Alabama. He is also survived by his brother, William V. Martin and Carol of Columbus, MS. and his sister, Caroline Herring of Montgomery. He also had many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and extended family. Johnny was a loving husband, father, and true friend to everyone.
Johnny retired from Sears after 36 years of service. He loved to hunt, fish, grow vegetable gardens, and cook outdoors. He was the life of all occasions. Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel, Sunday, January, 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with funeral services scheduled for Monday, January, 7th at 12:00 noon.
