He was preceded in death by his grandparents Whirlee and Helen Williams.
John is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Leigh Martin; Parents, Rex and Becky Martin; Sisters, Kimberly Martin, Melisa Martin, and Mary Dawn Pearce; a Brother, Carl(Rea) Martin; and two Grandchildren, Toby Lamar Simington Jr., and Royal Emilee Alasyia Simington.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel from 1:00pm-2:00pm with a service to follow in the Chapel. His final resting place will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jeff Mims, Tyler Weafer, Lee Goodin, Richard Reed, Jamie Judge, and Bryan Hattsfield.
