John Wesley Miller, Jr., formerly of Tuskegee, died Tuesday at the age of 83 at home. John was surrounded by his loving wife and his three devoted daughters. He is predeceased by a daughter, Ruth Anne Miller, and a grandson, John Wesley Edwards. John is survived by Ruth Oswalt Miller, his wife of 62 years, and his daughters, Linda G. Miller (Mike Edwards), Patti Levins, and Marie Milam (Alan). John leaves 4 grandchildren, Justin Levins, Boone Levins, Kevin Edwards, Amy M. Creamer (Chris); one great-grandchild, Emrie Edwards; brother, Billy Miller (Iris), family and friends. John served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict and then he worked in Base Shops on Maxwell for 30 years as a Hydraulic Technician Mechanic. Visitation will be Thursday 2:00-3:00 at Leak-Memory Chapel - with the funeral following in the chapel. Graveside will be private at Greenwood Cemetery. John died sure in his salvation and his love of Christ. He has been a member of Eastwood Presbyterian Church for the last 20 years.
