John P. Patterson, 78, of Montgomery Alabama, passed away on October 20, 2015. Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Fern and Marvin Patterson, and his sister, Patricia P. Payne. He is survived by his niece, Karen Hill (Randy) and extended family. Mr. Patterson served in the United States Air Force and retired from the State of Alabama. He enjoyed attending and serving at River City Church. He was an avid reader and loved to watch football.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Greenwood Serenity Gardens with Leak Memory Chapel directing. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to River City Church at 301 Dexter Ave, Montgomery, AL 36104
