John was a Korean war veteran who proudly served his county as a Navy Veteran, an Honorary member of the Montgomery Dulcimer Club but most of all John loved traveling with his beloved wife Betty and spending time with his beautiful family
John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Betty, he is survived by son David Reeves; and daughter Barbara Betts (David Betts); brother Buck Reeves (Jane Reeves) and brother Joe Reeves (Martha Reeves); granddaughter Rebecca Lee (John Lee), grandson Aaron Bets (Pam Bets), great grandchild Winston Lee, great grandchild Raylynn Bets and great grandchild Madilynn Bets.
A gathering of friends and family will take place Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 12:00pm- 12:30 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery Alabama a burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109-4325 at 12:30pm with Military Honors.
