Joyce Strassburger, age 87, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Joyce was born June 21, 1934. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Julien "Sonny" Moog Strassburger, her parents Herbert and Ethel Sandler, her daughter Kimberly Ann Strassburger, her son Herbert Lawrence Strassburger, her brother Nathan "Sonny" (Marilyn) Sandler and Pat (Ed) Strassburger Simon.
Mrs. Strassburger is survived by her children Karen (Craig) Goldstein and Julien "Sandy" Sandler (Brenda) Strassburger; her grandchildren Kimberly (Michael) Goot, Kevin (Emily) Goldstein, Caroline Goldstein, Maggie Strassburger, Polly Strassburger and Victoria Strassburger; and her great grandchildren August Goldstein, Miller Goldstein, Julien Goot and Max Goot.
A graveside service for Joyce will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Eternal Rest, 829 Columbus St., Montgomery, AL. Rabbi Scott Looper officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Temple Beth Or and the American Heart Association.
