Julia Spicer Brand, “Judy”, a resident of Prattville, Alabama went peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her loved ones Sunday, July 11, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Eddie” Brand, her mother Julia Spicer and father John Spicer. She is survived by her son, Wesley Brand (Kimberly), grandson, Brayden Brand, sister, Jane Bailey (John), brother, John Spicer (Sandra), sister-in-law, Ann Brand, brother-in-law Michael Brand (Sharon), aunt, Nancy Crippen, and many other relatives.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama on October 17, 1947 to Julia & John Spicer, she graduated from Sydney Lanier High School and attended The University of Alabama where she met and married the love of her life, Eddie Brand. She worked at Unicare upon moving to Prattville. She loved books, her dog Willow, cats, and critters. Judy loved all people and everyone was welcome at her house. She loved a good story and a good laugh! Judy loved traveling, car rides, the beach, good seafood, and fried catfish.
Visitation for Judy is Sunday, July 18th at 1:30 pm in White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 pm with burial after at Greenwood Serenity Gardens. Online condolences for the family may be shared at www.whitechapel-greenwoodfh.com.
