Julian Wayne Mount

Wayne was the superintendent of Norris Building Company for 37 years, and was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Mary Carolyn Mount.

Survivors include his children, Michelle Boston, Mike (Marsha) Harris, Terry (Bruce) Taunton, Tracie (John) Smith; grandchildren, Jordan Boston, Jonathan Boston, Emily Smith, Mara (Curtis) Martin, Kelli Harris, Justin Taunton; great grandchildren, Carson Taunton, Alan Martin; parents, Henry J. and Merle Mount; siblings, Ricky (Sallyann) Mount, Rhonda (Jackie) Thorne; special friend, Carolyn Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel with Pastors John Smith and Mark Raughton officiating. The burial will be held at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. The family will accept friends at 11:00 AM, prior to the service. Leak Memory Chapel is directing.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Amedisys Hospice.
