Julie Ann Barnes, 54, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama died Sunday June 10, 2018 after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her first mother, Joan Spinks Barnes. She is survived by her father, Robert E. Barnes, her second mother, Robbie J. Barnes, sisters, Joellen Kelly (Randy); Pamela E. Manlin (Bob); Peggy Thompson (Randy); brothers, Robert E Barnes Jr. (REB); Paul Barnes, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and her beloved pets, Samantha and Patches.
Julie was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, she was also an avid sports enthusiast, but her favorite was Alabama football. She kept up with anything related to SEC sports. Julie never met a stranger. Anyone who met her immediately loved her. She loved everyone and always had a heart for helping anyone but especially those in need.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday June 13, 2018 starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Rick Marshall officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Lapine, AI
