Katherine Ellisor Hopkins, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was a long time member of Dalraida United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Benjamin Selman Ellisor; her husband of 56 years, Buddie Hopkins; and her daughter Linda. She is survived by her daughters: Mary Hopkins Gunn (Jimmy); Jean Hopkins Williams, (Donnie); Grandchildren: Ashley Gunn McCulloch (Steve); Alissa Gunn Potts (David); Graham Gunn; Pelham Staples (Heidi); Scott Staples (Brooke); Jordan Bitterman; Traci Barnett; Buddy Todd; Clay Stollenwerck and 13 great grandchildren. We were blessed to have her as our mother and grandmother “Nanny”. Funeral services will be at 3 pm on Sunday, May 20 at Dalraida United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 2 pm.
