Kathleen Faulkner

Kathleen Faulkner, 95, of Snowdoun, Alabama, passed away November 8, 2023. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was very active in all of her kids’ activities. She did not hesitate to lend a helping hand on the farm or anywhere she else she was needed. She was known for her egg custard pies and if you were sick, you usually got one. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carl and Kathleen Rose Kidwell; her husband, Martin C. Faulkner, Jr.; her son, “Little Bill” Faulkner; her grandchildren, David Faulkner and John Butler; her sisters, Ann King and Mary Louise Vonderhaar; and her brother, Father Bill Kidwell.

She is survived by her children, Eileen Draughon (Hank), Jimmy Faulkner, Marty Faulkner, Kathy Hall (Laslie), Patricia McCall, Carol Ann Free, Sharon Taylor, Steve Faulkner (Julie), 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Faulkner, Willie Faulkner, Jacob Faulkner, Thomas Faulkner, Brian Thackston, Wilson Butler, and Michael Pirtle.

Donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to Our Lady Queen of Mercy or to a charity of your choice.

A family and friends visitation for Kathleen will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A rosary service will follow. A funeral mass will occur Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Mercy Catholic Church, 4421 Narrow Lane Road, Montgomery, AL 36116.
