Kenneth Judson Talley

Kenneth Judson Talley, age 79, of Millbrook, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Born in Alabama to Ruel J. Talley and Marjorie Wilson Talley, Kenneth served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wayne Talley; and his step mother, Ethel Talley. Mr. Talley is survived by his wife of 22 years, Cheryl Degrasse Talley; his children, Mike Talley (Alicia), Wendi Johnson (Jeff), Allen Kirkland (Tonya), Judith McPherson (Steven-deceased), Sherri Wade (Paul), and Karen Gregory (Robert-deceased); his brother, Johnny Talley (Rhonda); as well as 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A member of the Patriot Guard Riders and Post 133 of American Legion, Kenneth was known for his love of motorcycles and fellow veterans. Ever active in his community, he was the first chief of the volunteer fire department in Coosada and an active member of Millbrook Baptist Church. As a special tribute to Kenneth, the family requests that funeral guests wear Army green or camo for the services.

A family and friends visitation for Kenneth will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 2:00 PM. Services will conclude with a burial and military honors at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mike Ingram officiating.

Pallbearers will be Greg Wade, Kirkland Clark, Corey Johnson, Paul Houlton, Mike Talley, Preston Mullins, and Allen Kirkland.
