Laura Leigh Brown, age 39, of Grady, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Laura was born December 27, 1981 as a twin to Mike and Cathy Brown. She is survived by her parents; her sister Elizabeth Brown Merritt; her grandmother Carolyn Olive; her special nephew Ben Merritt; her special niece Haven Merritt; Ben and Lauren Merritt and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A country girl, Laura enjoyed fishing, gardening and caring for the animals. A graduate of Success Unlimited Academy she loved helping children with disabilities. Laura will be remembered as one who deeply loved her family and friends.
A private family graveside for Laura will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery, 5496 Smiley Ferry Rd., Grady, AL 36036.
Pallbearers will be George Brown V, David Hataway, Chad Roberson, Ronald Cooper and Joseph Mason. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be shared with the Montgomery Humane Society.
