Laurie Ann Morgan

Laurie is survived by her husband, Scott Morgan; sister-in-law Aletha McLean, sister Patti Shulmister (Jim), Shulmister, brother David Simmons (Maria). She leaves behind her children; Kyle, Brian and Amber and seven grandsons (as well as a host of nieces and nephews) to cherish her memory.

Mrs. Morgan delighted in her grandsons and enjoyed family gatherings. Serving as a hostess in a variety of restaurants, she helped others feel welcomed and at home. Her sister said of her, "My sister was full of life and always there for me or whoever needed her. She had a big heart." In her later years, she volunteered serving hot dogs with "That's My Dog" mobile food service cart. Laurie's family and friends will gather together for a Celebration of Life this Saturday (3/23) around lunch.

Laurie was preceded in death by; father Allen Benjamin Simmons and mother Joan Miller Simmons; brother Ricky Simmons.
