Lawrence Franklin Dawson, 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Section 1A with longtime friend Kenneth Crosby officiating. Mr. Dawson was an electrician by trade and the Business Manager for the IBEW for 11 years. He also was the owner of Dawson Electric. Mr. Dawson was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Pearl Dawson; his brother, Clayton Dawson, Jr.; and his wife of 63 years, Marshall Elizabeth Dawson. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence (Larry) Dawson and Mark Dawson; and granddaughter, Ally Dawson. The family would like to give a special thanks to Linda King for the care and love she gave to Mr. Dawson.
