Leila Kathryn Stone

Lelia Kathryn Stone, “Kathy” age 70, a resident of Grady, Alabama, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. Kathy was Born on October 14, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, Kathy was the daughter of Willie Roy and Leila Gray Bradley. She graduated from Robert E Lee High School and spent many of her adult years playing softball and traveling to tournaments, a pastime that brought her great joy and lasting friendships. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and friend. She found joy in her children. She loved watching Keith Play football and Kellie playing softball (which she coached) growing up. She was everywhere her children were. This then spilled over to her grandchildren. She also loved cheering on the Crimson Tide.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Terry Stone; her children, Kellie Wells (Matthew),

Keith Stone (Lindsey); and her five beloved grandchildren Blakeney, Bryce, Hadley, Anne Bradley and Ella who lovingly called her

"Grammy." She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Capps, Ann Langford, Kay Hughes and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Willie Roy and Leila Gray Bradley, her sister Rebecca Bradley and Brother-in-law Glenn Capps

A Graveside Ceremony will be held on February 26, 2026, at 2:00pm., at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, Alabama with Brother Chuck Francisco officiating. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
