Lena Mae Evans

Evans, Lena Mae of Montgomery, AL, passed away on November 15, 2018 at the age of 78. She loved to cook, garden, and take care of her flowers. She also loved to make ceramic figurines. Lena was a great mechanic and could fix anything.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Evans; sons, Nicky Evans and Charles Evans, Jr., parents, Dan and Clara Woodruff; 1 Sister; and 4 Brothers.

She is survived by her sister/caregiver, Jeanette Martin; sister, Jewell Powell; brother, LB Woodruff (Jeanie); special niece and nephew, Ferrie and RJ Sutherland; daughters, Sandy Fuller (Ken) and Dottie Nailen (and Family); grandchildren, Christina Fuller and Daniel Fuller; and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm led by Pastor Matt Nixon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Montgomery Hospice.
