Butch was preceded in death by his father Leroy Thomas Parkhurst, mother June Frances Parkhurst, sister Lily-Belle Parkhurst Willow, granddaughters Hannah Elizabeth Parkhurst and Alexandria Parkhurst. He was survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris “Libby” Tatum Parkhurst, His three sons, Steven, John(Robin), and Chris Parkhurst, 3 grandsons, Christopher and Hyland Parkhurst, Austin White, one granddaughter, Danielle White, and one great granddaughter Callista Rowe, two sisters, Barbara Kell and Debra Hansen and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was a Vietnam Vet and retired from the Montgomery fire department. He loved being with his family and helping others. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

The Memorial will be held Sunday January 7th at 2pm at Rigby Street Baptist Church.
