

Mr. Lionel ("Lee") J. LeJeune Jr., 83, who was the only child born to Roxie Tripp LeJeune and Lionel J. LeJeune Sr., and resided in Prattville, AL., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 26, 2017 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Barbara Jean LeJeune , along with four children: Brenda J. Fox of Prattville, AL., David S. LeJeune (Sheryl) of Millbrook, AL., Lionel J. (Joey) LeJeune III, (Lisa) of Tallassee, AL., and Amy F. LeJeune Atwell (Paul) of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was retired after 20 years with the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years from the Alabama Department of Public Safety/Communications with the Alabama Sate Troopers as a Communication Officer. Before and during the USAF, he was a avid softball player as a pitcher. He enjoyed bowling, music, movies and fancy cars. He was a huge Alabama Crimson Tide football fan, " Roll Tide", as well as a Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Everyone knew him as "Lee". During his younger years, he was known as "Sonny Boy". A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery with military honors. At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. Everyone is asked to meet the family at the gravesite. Arrangements under the direction of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, Montgomery, AL.
