

Mrs. Lois Yvonne Carswell, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Heartland of Orange Park located in Orange Park FL. She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Dean Carswell and her parents: Leonard Cordell Knight and Ruth Estelle Peacock , a son: John Elijah Carswell and a sister: Dewayne Walters. She is survived by her children: Ben Michael (Evelyn) Carswell, Terry Dale (Mary Lee) Carswell, Timothy James (Renee) Carswell, Bruce (Janice) Carswell, Bobby (Kathy) Carswell and Earldean Carswell., brothers: James Ray Langley, Larry Langley, Russell Langley and Mickey Langley. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amanda (Terry) Wright, Jason (Felica) Carswell, Adam (Arielle) Carswell, Elizabeth (Joshua) Bray, Reed (Trish) Carswell, Christina (John) McNeal, Aaron Carswell, Tabitha Cleary, Ashley (Nick) Burma, Patrick (Sherry) Carswell, Bruce Anthony (Tabatha) Carswell, Amy (Michael) Cowan, Ryan Carswell, Wendy (Mark) Ingram and a host more, great-grandchildren: Kierstyn Wright, Jessica Wright, TJ Wright, Terrica Wright, Terrell Wright, Preston, Dawson, Leah, Eva Carswell, Kaley Carswell, Ansley Todd, Zelda and Rayden Cleary and a host of others. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devout Christian and a great servant of the Lord in ministry and music. She will greatly be missed by all of us. She loved Gospel music especially the music God inspired her to write and sing. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Alabama Heritage Cemetery with a public visitation prior in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 2:00 pm- 2:45pm. Arrangements under the direction of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, Montgomery, AL.
