Lura Pauline Cox

Visitation for family and friends will be at Leak Memorial at 12:00 on Monday 24, 2014. Immediately following at 2:00 there will be a graveside service to celebrate her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reuben and by her father and mother William E. and Ethel Rose Brooks. She is survived by her son, John (Janice) Cox and her daughter, Carolyn (Bill) Singleton, all of Montgomery. Also, by her step-son, Benny (Ester) Barrow of Andalusia.

Granny was blessed with grandchildren; Tim (Barbara) Singleton, Doug (Dawn) Singleton, Kenny Cox, Spence Singleton, Janet Singleton and Rachel (Ben) Capshaw.

Her great-grandchildren; Tison Singleton, Carolyn Singleton, Madison Singleton, Jake Singleton, Lainey Cox and step great grandchildren Hilary Crawford, Taylor Tylicki, Hayden Crawford, Madison Tylicki and Brooke Sansom.

Granny had so many wonderful nieces and nephews that were such a blessing to her.

Her graveside celebration will be led by Dr. Tim Singleton. She will be buried next to Reuben's grave in the Old Rugged Cross Section of Greenwood Cemetery.

A special thank you for the many friends and family that have loved Granny for so many years.
