Mamie Brooks Dunn, age 97, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Sunday December 22, 2019. Mamie was born December 24, 1921.

A visitation for Mamie will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.

Mamie is survived by her children; Ted (Annette) Dunn, Amelia Dunn (Jim) Gorman, Hans Marcus "Mule" Dunn and son Richard (Anitha) Ainsworth; grandchildren; Ken (Cheri) Dunn, Holley Ann Dunn, John Phillip Besdole, great grandchildren; Cross Dunn and Knox Dunn as well as nephew Roland H. (Joyce) Brooks.

Mamie was preceded in death by her husband John Kendrick Dunn.

Serving as pallbearers are Lamar Boyd, Marshall Howell, Russ Brooks, Hassey Brooks, Phil Bedsole, Tommy Evans, Bob Brooks, David Woodruff, Tripe Weldon, Phillip Dunn and Deacons of Highland Ave. Baptist Church.
