Margie McGarr Johns, age 93, former resident of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her children, Cheryl Dickey Holmes McQueen and Fred Haygood Dickey, Jr. Loving survivors include her three daughters, Sandra Dickey Bazzell (Mack) of Wetumpka, AL, Clara Dickey Gilbert of Lawrenceville, GA, Margie Dickey Lambert of Pike Road, AL; son, John Robert Shelby Dickey (Faye) of Prattville, AL; sister, Bobbie Collier of Prattville, AL; sister-in-law, Mary McGarr of Eclectic, AL; as well as 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10:00am on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Leak Memory Chapel with a graveside service at 11:00am at Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Rick Moore officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
