Marjorie Ann Waites Jones, age 67 passed away at home on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odie and Ebber Kirkpatrick Waites. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles Ray Jones; one daughter, LaDonna Cranidiotis; two sons, Chuck Jones, Mike Jones; a brother, Ray Waites and eight grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margie was active in The Gideons International and served two years as President on the Gideon Auxiliary for the State of Alabama. She also held many offices in The Gideon Auxiliary for Montgomery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be given to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 210643, Montgomery, AL. 36109.Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Mount Church in Ringgold, Louisiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
