Mary Ann Davitt

Mary was born and raised with a deep love for family, tradition, and her beloved Alabama Crimson Tide—Roll Tide. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Davitt Jr., and is survived by her two sons, Sean M.. Davitt (Jessica Davitt) and Michael E. Davitt (Sarah Davitt). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Avery, Jasper, and Chloe Davitt, who brought her endless joy and laughter.

Mary found happiness in the simple pleasures—spending time with her grandchildren, working on diamond art projects, and cheering on Alabama football. Her warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service to honor Mary’s life will be held on September 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Celebrations, 9940 Lifeline Ct, Mobile, AL 36608.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Mary by spending time with your loved ones and holding them close—just as she always did.
