Mary Jo Young, 83, of Montgomery passed away peacefully on June 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lee (Bobby) Thornton, and her husband of 39 years, Frazier C. Young; brothers, Thomas Hall, Tranum Hall, and John Hall; sisters, Thelma (Sister) Sloan, Willie Pearl Light; and her granddaughter, Michele Manning (wife of Shane Manning). She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Lee (Riley) Manning, and Mary Teresa Parten; grandsons, Shane Manning and Joey Parten; great grandchildren Meagan Manning and Taylor Manning; brothers and sisters, Annie Martin, Ben (Janelle) Hall, Wayne Hall and Nancy McSwain; and a host of much loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 12:00 pm until 12:45 pm with graveside service at 1:00 pm in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. Family request that all Family and friends please dress casual.
