

Melissa Ann was a life-long resident of Wetumpka and graduated from Edgewood Academy. She was saved at an early age and spent her life telling others about Jesus. She attended First Assembly of God in Montgomery, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Arlen Guy; her sister, Barbara Arlene Guy; her niece, Haley Alexis Grigsby; and her stepson, Kristopher Ryan Williamson.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Ken Williamson, Sr; her stepson, Kenny Williamson, Jr. (Jennifer); her stepdaughters, Kimberly Williamson Simpson (Josh), Kristen Williamson, Kortney Williamson Lyness (Tim); her grandchildren, Hunter Williamson (Souvana), Kylar Williamson, Marlee Grace Simpson, Makenna Simpson, Kensley Williamson, Kaeli Stokes, Tillman Simpson, Ridge Lyness, and Rollyns Lyness; her great grandchild, Baker Williamson; her mother, Barbara Smith Guy; her brother, Benjamin A. Guy, Jr.; her sister, Lorrie Guy Grigsby (Bobby); her nieces and nephews, Matthew Houston, Maci Houston, Hayden Grigsby, Morgan Houston Graham.
Melissa Ann spent over a decade as a victims’ advocate for the tri-county area for battered women and children including the Family Sunshine Center which offers hope and healing to those traumatized through domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking.

A visitation for Melissa Ann will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at First Assembly of God, 135 Bell Rd, Montgomery, AL 36117 with a celebration of life to follow at 3:00pm.
