Mildred J. Daniel

Mrs. Mildred Campbell Daniel passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at John Knox Manor in Montgomery. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charlie Daniel; parents, Oscar Lee and Nannie Nina Dickens Campbell; brothers and sisters, Leroy Campbell, Nina Campbell Higdon, Henry Campbell, J.G. Campbell, and Marjorie Campbell Denenny. She is survived by her children, Jean Daniel Rigdon, Janice Daniel Martin (Jimmy), Jimmy Daniel (Debbie); grandchildren, Trey Martin (Misty), Jenny Daniel Mallory (Cleve), and Allen Daniel (Casey); great grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Brent Cowart, T.J. Martin, Aubrie Martin, Ethan Martin, and Jackson Mallory. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Steve Badskey and Paul Turner officiating. Committal service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be members of the family. Mrs. Daniel was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who was passionate about her family and had an open heart for everyone she met. She was employed by the State Department of Education until her retirement, after which she took up the hobby of bowling which she enjoyed for many years. She was a long time and devoted member of Southside Baptist and Morningview Baptist church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Twani and all the other caretakers and staff of John Knox Manor.
