

Mrs. Mildred Maxene Fischer, 91, who resided in Prattville, Al. went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her residence. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of White Chapel- Greenwood Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow after the service at Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Fischer is preceded in death by Vartan Asdourian; Onna Lova and Charles Callahan (parents); Charles Callahan (sibling); and Jerry Callahan (sibling). Mrs. Fischer is survived by her spouse, William C. Fischer, son Jon D. Asdourian and a daughter, Bambi Molden (Rick), grandchildren, Johnny Molden (Christy), Joie Molden (Stephen Niedzielski), Heather St. Dennis (Kim), Amber Asdourian, Gabe Asdourian, Nathan Asdourian (Johanna), Jennifer Costigan (Chris), Charlie Carlson and Heather Carlson plus fourteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fischer was a military wife and homemaker, registered nurse and an avid traveler. Mrs. Fischer loved bowling. She was the first woman inducted into the Alabama Women's Bowling Hall of Fame. She enjoyed shopping and eating out; and loved Alabama football-Roll Tide!! Mrs. Fischer was a member of the Montgomery Women's Bowling Association; NCO Wives Club (Maxwell AFB) and loved church hymns.
